Investment: $1,500

Limited to 8 students | First come, first served

This program provides expert-led guidance for students who have been postponed by the University of Michigan and need a clear, strategic plan for what comes next.

This is not basic essay editing. It is a comprehensive admissions strategy designed to help families move forward with confidence—whether that results in admission this cycle or a well-informed next step.

What’s Included

1. Comprehensive Admissions Strategy Review (Private Video)
A personalized video review covering:

  • How the postponement is likely being interpreted by admissions

  • Holistic review of the student’s academic and extracurricular profile

  • Strategic guidance on presenting meaningful updates

  • College list positioning, contingency planning, and transfer pathways

2. Letter of Continued Interest (ECI) Strategy & Final Review
Students already have an ECI example. This component focuses on how to use it strategically:

  • What to include (and avoid) in the LCI

  • How to position updates effectively

  • Detailed review of the final ECI before submission

3. Follow-Up 1:1 Meeting & Decision Guidance
A private meeting to:

  • Clarify recommendations and finalize next steps

  • Review offers already in hand and assess fit

  • Determine the strongest path forward, regardless of outcome

What People Are Saying:

Since he was a baby, my son had dreamed of attending UM, and he worked hard toward that goal, achieving a good GPA and engaging in lots of extracurricular involvement. After his EA application to Michigan was deferred (postponed), he felt like his dream was out of reach, and I felt utterly lost on how to help him move forward. Fortunately, I learned about Ashleigh and her services. Ashleigh clearly explained the postponement process and provided a video review of my son’s application, identifying areas that may have been of concern to the admissions team and offering advice on how he could bolster his chances of admission. She even offered to review the follow-up materials he submitted through the postponement process. He followed her advice and was subsequently offered admission! He’s currently a freshman and is thriving in the academic and social experience at UM. We are so grateful to Ashleigh for her professional expertise and highly recommend her services to any families hoping to navigate the disappointment and confusion of the deferral process.
