Essay Timeline
Your child will receive a detailed plan for completing their essays well before the deadlines (schedule dependent on start date and the essay package selected).
Online Portal
Students will be provided login information for the online portal where they will find weekly assignments and supplemental videos outlining the simple 10-step writing process.
Additional Essay Services
Assistance is available for the personal statement only or you may choose to include additional support for school-specific supplements, activity lists, additional information sections, and more.

Hi! I'm Ashleigh, a former senior admissions counselor and your personal college application strategist.
This summer, I will be guiding a small group of rising seniors in creating the perfect college essay.
"What is a perfect college essay?"
Good question.
A perfect essay is one that preserves the student's voice, shares meaningful content that cannot be found elsewhere in the application, and provides admissions officers an inside look into why the student would be a good fit on their college's campus.
While English teachers and counselors may be able to proofread and make suggestions during the college essay writing process, only a former admissions officer knows how to truly win over admissions committees with your child's essay content.
At the end of the Empowered Essay Experience, rising seniors will have ready-to-submit essays that showcase their most unique personal qualities and experiences while remaining true to who they are.

The personal statement portion of the program takes approximately 4 weeks. Additional essays will require 1-2 weeks each.
